Super Car Renault Alpine

Visitors of retro salon, which takes place in the Prague Exhibition Centre Porte de Versailles, can enjoy racing cars of the company Renault, which came into the sport 115 years ago. In particular, the exhibition features unique cars Renault Alpine of different years: Alpine M65 – 1965, single Alpine A366 – 1973, as well as Alpine A310 and the Renault Alpine A442 B, which won the 24-hour race at Le Mans in 1978.

From an earlier period a race car Renault 40CV should be allocated. This machine is equipped with a 9.0-liter engine, installed in 1926, the speed record on Monterey ring: distance of 80 km traveled at a speed of 188 km/h, with raids for 24 hours at a speed of 171 km/h. The exhibition presents a replica of this glorious car, skillfully made in the 70s.

Concept Renault Alpine

The first model of the brand – A106 Mille Milles was at Renault A106 platform. The two companies worked closely together: Alpine cars with an engine from the Renault repeatedly won races – Coupe des Alpes (Alpine Cup), Monte-Carlo, at the World Cup in 1973. However, in the same year because of the oil crisis, the company started having problems, and it merged with Renault and began to produce cars under the brand Alpine-Renault. Under this brand it won the competition “24 Hours of Le Mans.” The last car brand – A610 model – was introduced in 1991. In 1995, the company was closed. Sports car will make its presentation on February 16, 2016, when the first photos will be published on the official website of the French company.

The car will be produced at the plant in the town of Renault Alpine Depp. Pod hood is a 1.8-liter gasoline turbo engine. Full power car accessories are based on the model Clio RS. The projected capacity of the sports car will make 300 horsepower. Together with the engine it is equipped with an automatic transmission.

According to the developers, equipment motor of Renault Alpine will be transferred to the following models of Renault Megane and Nismo Nissan Pulsar in the future.

Front Renault Alpine

Renault Management intends to expand the series Apline car for a couple of years. It is planned that by the beginning of 2019 the French auto giant will release a sports crossover.
