BMW E21 Review

The model BMW E21 is a direct successor to the BMW of 2002, and in 1983 was replaced by a compact conveyor series E30. The development of the BMW E21 began in 1970, when the company’s management decided to remove from the production of the 2002 and outdated design to be replaced by a more modern car with improved characteristics. The debut of the production version of the BMW E21 was held in 1975 at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, where the audience met the novelty enough kindly. The most cost-effective modification has been 315, developed in the midst of the oil crisis. The top version of the 323 was equipped with a 145-horsepower engine with Bosch Jetronic injection K.

The top model of BMW E21 323i was equipped with a 6-cylinder 143-horsepower fuel-injected engine M20B23. Fuel injection was performed on this motor Bosch injector. The car came with a power steering, 4-speed manual transmission as standard, and the optional 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission.
